Our Services

Equipment

The TBC metallurgical laboratory is equipped with modern metallographic sample preparation equipment required for ASTM compliant material preparation for optical microstructure analysis, and scanning electron microscopy. Equipment includes two Olympus metallographs, a Tukon microhardness tester, and fully digitized macroscopic and microscopic capability for photographic documentation.

Chemical Analysis, Scanning Electron Microscopy, EDS, Auger, ESCA and mechanical testing are performed as required using qualified and proven metallurgical laboratories guided and directed on-site. The TBC laboratory uses high resolution digital cameras which are integrated with computers which directly record observations in common file format.
